Vendor/Creator Agreement for BharatLoco

This Vendor/Creator Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into by and between BharatLoco (“we,” “our,” “us,” or “Platform”) and the Vendor/Creator (“you” or “Vendor”), governing your participation as a seller on BharatLoco and your use of our platform to sell digital content (such as Routes, Scenarios, Sounds, Repaints, and other related products) related to train simulation.
By signing up as a Vendor on BharatLoco, you agree to comply with this Agreement in full.
1. Eligibility
To become a Vendor on BharatLoco, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Provide accurate and current account information during registration.
- Own or have the right to sell the digital content you list on BharatLoco.
- Provide valid government-issued identification documents for the purpose of identity verification.
2. Verification and Document Collection
2.1 Government Document Collection
As part of the onboarding process, BharatLoco requires Vendors to submit government-issued documents (e.g., ID cards, passports, or other legal identification) for verification purposes. These documents will be securely stored on BharatLoco’s servers and used solely to verify your identity and eligibility to sell on the platform.
2.2 Document Retention and Deletion
- Your government-issued documents will be stored only for as long as you remain an active Vendor on BharatLoco.
- Upon termination or deletion of your account, BharatLoco will delete all government documents provided for verification.
- BharatLoco will retain personally identifiable information (PII) (such as name, email, and contact details) for documentation purposes after the deletion of your account, in compliance with data protection laws.
3. Vendor Responsibilities
3.1 Content Creation
You are responsible for creating and uploading high-quality, original digital content for sale on BharatLoco. Your content must:
- Comply with all applicable laws and intellectual property rights.
- Be free from malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
- Accurately represent the product described (including product title, description, and screenshots).
- Meet the platform’s quality standards to ensure a positive customer experience.
3.2 Pricing and Fees
You are responsible for setting the prices for your products. BharatLoco will charge a platform commission for each sale, which will be clearly defined in the Vendor Dashboard. Commission rates are subject to change, but we will notify you of any changes in advance.
3.3 Product Delivery
Upon successful payment, your digital products will be delivered automatically to the customer through the BharatLoco platform. You must ensure that your products are available for immediate download after purchase.
3.4 Customer Support
You are responsible for addressing any customer inquiries or support issues related to your products. This includes troubleshooting, responding to questions, and providing updates or fixes where necessary.
4. BharatLoco Responsibilities
4.1 Platform Services
BharatLoco provides a platform for you to sell your digital products. We will:
- Manage the infrastructure, hosting, and operations of the marketplace.
- Provide access to tools for uploading and managing your products.
- Ensure secure payment processing through trusted third-party providers.
4.2 Payouts
You will receive payouts for your sales through the payment method provided during registration. Payouts will be processed based on the schedule outlined in your Vendor Dashboard. BharatLoco reserves the right to withhold payouts in cases of fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or breach of this Agreement.
5. Termination
5.1 Vendor-Initiated Termination
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by deleting your account or ceasing to list products for sale on BharatLoco. Upon termination:
- BharatLoco will delete all government-issued documents you have provided.
- BharatLoco will retain only your PII (e.g., name, email, contact details) for legal and documentation purposes.
5.2 Platform-Initiated Termination
BharatLoco reserves the right to terminate your Vendor account for any violation of this Agreement, including but not limited to:
- Breach of intellectual property rights.
- Fraudulent activity.
- Repeated customer complaints or low product quality.
Upon termination, your government documents will be deleted, and only your PII will be retained as required by law.
6. Data Privacy
BharatLoco is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly. All personal information, including government documents, will be stored securely in compliance with applicable data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. 7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights to the content you upload to BharatLoco. By listing your content on the platform, you grant BharatLoco a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and sell your content to customers.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be settled in accordance with the laws of [Insert Country/State].
9. Amendments
BharatLoco reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify you of any changes via email or through your Vendor Dashboard. Continued use of the platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

Quality Standards for Vendors on BharatLoco
- Original Content Only 🎨
- All uploaded content (routes, scenarios, repaints, sounds) must be original or fully licensed. Plagiarized or unauthorized content is strictly prohibited.
- Accurate Product Descriptions 🛤️
- Vendors must provide clear and detailed descriptions for their products, including features, requirements, and compatibility (e.g., with Train Simulator Classic).
- High-Quality Files 📂
- Products should be thoroughly tested to ensure they are free of bugs, corrupt files, or compatibility issues.
- All files must be correctly packaged for easy installation by customers.
- Timely Support and Updates 💬
- Vendors are expected to provide prompt responses to customer inquiries and resolve issues within a reasonable timeframe.
- Updates or fixes must be provided if the product is found to be defective after purchase.
- Compliance with Platform Policies 📋
- Vendors must comply with BharatLoco’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Refund Policy.
- Any attempt to upload malicious software or violate platform rules will result in account suspension or termination.

- All products must be reasonably priced to reflect the value they offer. Misleading or deceptive pricing practices are prohibited.

By agreeing to this Vendor/Creator Agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with its terms.
