This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of the services offered by BharatLoco (“we,” “our,” “us,” or “Platform”) through our website, https://bharatloco.net, and any related software or applications (including the upcoming desktop application). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Failure to comply may result in the suspension or termination of your account, along with other legal action.

1. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use BharatLoco or its services for any unlawful, harmful, or otherwise prohibited activities. This includes, but is not limited to:

1.1 Illegal or Unlawful Content

  • Uploading, transmitting, or distributing any content that violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party intellectual property rights (e.g., copyrighted material, trademarks).
  • Engaging in activities that promote or encourage illegal activities, including promoting violence, hate, or discrimination.

1.2 Harmful or Malicious Behavior

  • Uploading or distributing malicious content, such as viruses, malware, or any other harmful software intended to damage or disrupt another user’s device or the platform.
  • Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or otherwise gain unauthorized access to the BharatLoco platform, user accounts, or related systems.
  • Using BharatLoco to engage in activities that could harm or threaten the security, availability, or integrity of our services or systems.

1.3 Harassment and Abuse

  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing any other user, vendor, or member of the BharatLoco community.
  • Engaging in activities intended to bully, defame, or otherwise intimidate others.

1.4 Spamming and Fraud

  • Sending unsolicited messages (spam) or engaging in any fraudulent activities.
  • Engaging in deceptive practices, including impersonating another user or vendor.

2. Content Restrictions

As a vendor or user, you are responsible for the content you upload, distribute, or sell on the BharatLoco platform. The following restrictions apply:

2.1 Original and Licensed Content

  • You may only upload content that you own, or for which you have obtained the necessary licenses or permissions. This includes, but is not limited to, Routes, Scenarios, Repaints, Sounds, and other digital assets.
  • You may not sell or distribute content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of third parties.

2.2 Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share any content that:

  • Promotes hate, violence, or discrimination.
  • Is obscene, defamatory, or otherwise offensive.
  • Violates any local, national, or international law.
  • Contains viruses, malware, or harmful software.

2.3 Content Quality

All content offered for sale or free distribution on BharatLoco must meet our quality standards. This includes ensuring that the content works as described and does not cause harm to users’ devices or violate our guidelines.

3. API Usage (for BharatLoco API Key)

If you access the BharatLoco platform via the BharatLoco API Key for our desktop application or other services, you must comply with the following conditions:

3.1 Authorized Use

  • You may only use the BharatLoco API for legitimate, authorized purposes as permitted by your license. You must not abuse the API by making excessive requests, or by using it for illegal activities.

3.2 Security

  • Keep your API key confidential and do not share it with others. If your API key is compromised, please notify BharatLoco immediately.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API key.

3.3 Rate Limiting

BharatLoco reserves the right to apply rate limits on API usage to ensure platform stability. Abuse or overuse of the API may result in suspension or termination of your API access.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including passwords, API keys, and any other information used to access your account. You agree to:

  • Use a strong password and update it regularly.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspicious activity involving your account.
  • Not share your account with others or allow others to use your account.

5. Consequences of Violating This AUP

BharatLoco reserves the right to take any appropriate action if we determine that a user has violated this AUP. This may include:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of your account.
  • Removal of content that violates the policy.
  • Legal action where appropriate, including cooperation with law enforcement.
  • Restriction or termination of API access.

6. Monitoring and Enforcement

BharatLoco reserves the right to monitor activity on our platform to ensure compliance with this AUP. We may:

  • Investigate any suspected violations of this AUP or misuse of the platform.
  • Take pre-emptive actions such as suspending accounts, restricting access, or removing content if we detect potential violations.

7. Reporting Violations

If you believe a user or vendor is violating this AUP, or if you experience any form of harassment, abuse, or malicious activity on the BharatLoco platform, please contact us at [email protected] with details of the violation.

8. Changes to This AUP

We may update this AUP from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on our website or via email. Your continued use of BharatLoco after any changes to this AUP will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
